A series of forms created by cutting steel tube along the seam. The release in tension creates new geometry.

JWS Studio Build

Full studio build for Jamie Wolfond Studio. Built from the ground up to operate as a workshop + design studio. Carefully balancing practical studio requirements with a build that would compliment JWS’ body of work.

Petal Lamp

Preservation of a moment; the last petal on a flower before it dies. 

Repositioning of the petal shaped shade grants authority over the type of light cast, allowing the user to dictate the behaviour of the light.

Physical properties are carefully juggled to capture a precise relationship between gravity, resistance, and resolution.

6063 is composed of an unfisinished aluminum extrusion and machined lighting nodes.
